Dr Mark Wiggers, Optometrist

Dr. Wiggers grew up in Evansville, Indiana. In high school he was a member of the orchestra and marching band, and was even honored to be a part of the All-State Band and Orchestra, performing in Indianapolis.

He attended Indiana University, where he received both his B.S. and his Doctorate in Optometry, O.D., degrees. He was awarded the Feinbloom Award for Excellence in Low Vision. Then he went on to earn certification in Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease.

Dr. Wiggers worked in a variety of commercial optical settings before moving to Georgia for the warm weather and Southern Hospitality. He worked with patients at the Sears Optical in Northpoint Mall, until 2005, when he opened Absolute EyeCare, near his home in Cumming.

Absolute EyeCare has become a stellar provider of eyecare and eyewear, in a friendly yet professional environment, by an experienced and competent staff.

In his spare time, Dr. Wiggers enjoys collector cars, dogs, movies, music, and baking.

Ken, Licensed Optician

Ken McHan is a Licensed Dispensing Optician (L.D.O.) which is the highest level of licensure in the State of Georgia.  He attained this credential by having 20+ years of experience in Opticianry.  Ken can help you by guiding you to eyeglass frames that fit you properly and are flattering to your facial shape and coloration.  He will lead you to ophthalmic lens enhancements that will greatly improve the quality of your visual life for all your activities including Computer Work, Reading, Night Driving, Outdoor Activities, Sports, and anything else unique to your life.

Ken is friendly, accommodating, and always professional.  You will always be greeted with a smile and a willingness to help.

Ken is a native of North Georgia, growing up in Blue Ridge before coming to the "big city" to pursue his passion, Opticianry.

Caroline, Ophthalmic Assistant

Caroline Robinson is our Receptionist, Insurance Guru, and can do pretty much anything needed in the office.  She has 20+ years experience in professional optometry offices, and really knows what she is doing.

Caroline oozes Southern Hospitality while taking care of our patients.  She will always greet you with a smile, politely answer your questions, be a great resource for your insurance issues, and gratefully collect your payment.

Caroline grew up in Canton, where she was a high school cheer leader.  She is the proud mother of her 26 year old son.

Bill, Patient Care Coordinator

Bill Sebastian is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (L.C.S.W.) with a Masters in Social Work from Indiana University.  His  function is to run the computerized testing equipment to prepare patients for Dr. Wiggers, make mutually convenient appointments for our patients, and coordinate any referrals to other doctors that are recommended by Dr. Wiggers.

Bill is a native of Ohio, where he raised a daughter and a son, who have both made him a proud grandfather.  He resides here in Cumming.

Lori, Ophthalmic Technician

Lori Nabors has experience in optical services for the past 20+ years.  She started in the eyeglass and lens manufacturing segment, and has moved steadily into patient care.  She brings a wealth of knowlege to our office from all facets of vision care.  Lori's function in our practice is to do pre-testing on patients with the computerized instruments to prep patients for Dr. Wiggers.  She will also dispense glasses with personalized adjustments and instructions on use and proper care.  Lori is also one of our contact lens instructors, who will patiently help you learn to insert and remove your new contact lenses.

Lori is a native of Buford, where she still resides on a road named for her grandfather.  She has one son, who is almost grown, and uses the sense of humor developed during his upbringing to bring a witte, yet professional demeanor to her patient care.
